This paper reviews different types of cooling systems used in lithium-ion batteries, including air cooling, liquid cooling, phase change material (PCM), heat pipe, thermo-electric module, and direct refrigerant cooling system. Depending on the conditions and requirements, a single or a combination of these cooling methods may be used.
They pointed out that liquid cooling should be considered as the best choice for high charge and discharge rates, and it is the most suitable for large-scale battery applications in high-temperature environments. The comparison of advantages and disadvantages of different cooling systems is shown in Table 1. Figure 1.
Therefore, the current lithium-ion battery thermal management technology that combines multiple cooling systems is the main development direction. Suitable cooling methods can be selected and combined based on the advantages and disadvantages of different cooling technologies to meet the thermal management needs of different users. 1. Introduction
The commercially employed cooling strategies have several able maximum temperature and symmetrical temperature distribution. The efforts are striving in current cooling strategies and be employed in next-generation battery thermal management systems. for battery thermal management in EVs.
Liquid Cooling Systems: One of the most common types of active systems. In this setup, liquid coolant flows through channels surrounding the battery pack. The liquid absorbs heat from the battery and dissipates it through a radiator (ScienceDirect). Air Cooling Systems: This system uses fans to blow air over the battery pack to remove heat.
Types of battery thermal management systems. Battery thermal management systems are primarily split into three types: Active Cooling is split into three types: The cell or cells are held in an enclosure, air is forced through the battery pack and cools the cells.

At present, the mainstream cooling is still air cooling, air cooling using air as a heat transfer medium. There are two common types of air cooling: 1. passive air cooling, which directly uses external air for heat transfer; 2. active air cooling, which can pre-heat or cool the external air before entering the battery system.
Cooling plate design is one of the key issues for the heat dissipation of lithium battery packs in electric vehicles by liquid cooling technology. To minimize both the volumetrically average temperature of the battery pack and the energy dissipation of the cooling system, a bi-objective topology optimization model is constructed, and so five cooling plates with different …

There are different topologies for constructing a 3 phase voltage inverter circuit. In case of bridge inverter, operating by 120-degree mode, the Switches of three-phase inverters are operated such that each switch operates T/6 of the total time which creates output waveform that has 6 steps. There is a zero-voltage step between negative and positive voltage levels of the square …
