The new energy storage system (ESS) provides safe and long-lasting rechargeable battery power in a compact enclosure designed for datacenters, colocation, and healthcare industries. “The G9000 SCiB ESS is a game changer for the industry,” remarked Greg Mack, VP & GM of Power Electronics Division.

The integrated battery management system is powered by the Vertiv EnergyCore batteries, removing the requirement for an external power source and simplifying installation.
In December 2023, the skip rate for batteries based on energy actions was 92%. In August 2024, this was reduced to 73%. Skip rates based on constraints decreased from 97% in December 2023 to 91% in August 2024. Over the next 12 month, ESO has highlighted some main areas of focus.
