According to the reference temperature of the battery is usually 25 °C. Additionally the temperature of the battery can be measured in order to derive a necessary adjustment to the expected stored energy time.
The automotive batteries are usually tested at either 150A or 300A with different 10s /30s voltage and durability requirement to 6V. For European applications, we believe this does not give as clear a view to the customer of battery startability and is rarely shown and used within the European aftermarket.
No comparative tables available unfortunately. Only the IEC TS 62607-4 series seem to cover battery material tests. From 33 standards on battery testing the contents have been analysed. Per test category tables have been compiled that bring comparable test subjects together.
The height of battery current and battery power is decisive for the SOC value to which a battery can be charged or discharged. Therefore operational values limit the SOC range in which a certain constant current or power can be applied on the battery.
The other way round stored electric charge of a battery can be expressed by using the SOC value: (6) q (S O C) = S O C · C Since the value of capacity changes during lifetime due to battery aging, an index of SOC can specify the capacity C, which is the reference for SOC value.
