Trade and supply-chain frictions have resulted in an acute shortage of solar photovoltaic (PV) equipment in the United States that risks abruptly slowing the rate of solar PV installation. Project delays and cancellations pose risks to power sector reliability, electricity prices, and energy-sector jobs.
As far away from load demand center, the power grid construction is relatively weak in those areas. When the large-scale photovoltaic power stations are put into operation together, solar energy rejection will occur as not all the power can be transmitted due to the limitations of the transmission lines in the local area.
Table 13 shows the simulations results of the solar energy curtailment in 2020 based on the data of 2015 due to the limitations of the peak shaving units and transmission capacity. As shown in Table 13, the insufficient of peak shaving is the primary reason for the problem of solar energy curtailment, and it will become more and more serious.
When the large-scale photovoltaic power stations are put into operation together, solar energy rejection will occur as not all the power can be transmitted due to the limitations of the transmission lines in the local area. Fig. 14 shows the power grid of an area in Xinjiang.
Because China is of a large amount of the installed solar capacity, the existing large-scale solar energy curtailment problem have greatly affected the development of the solar power industry (e.g. the investors' profits) and the long-term development of the China's clean energy policy.
The studies found on photovoltaic solar energy are all technical, thus creating the need for future research related to the economic viability, chain supply coordination, analysis of barriers and incentives to photovoltaic solar energy and deeper studies about the factors that influence the position of such technologies in the market. 1.

A noticeable shift toward greater electricity generation from oil and gas began in 2015. This shift in the energy mix has had significant consequences, particularly concerning carbon dioxide (CO 2) emissions from the power sector, which have been on the rise (International Renewable Energy Agency, 2021).The impact of this shift extends beyond …
