Complementing the dissemination work and progress in the reports, the Task 14 management team has started the process to define the new Task related to Grid Integration of Solar PV, which is planned to continue the work after the conclusion of Task 14 at the end of 2023.
At EU level, we examined the work of the five Commission directorates-general with a significant role in the deployment of wind and solar PV and of Eurostat 21. We also visited a number of stakeholders in Brussels and the Member States in the field of wind and/or solar PV power, and the European Environment Agency in Copenhagen.
The IEA Photovoltaic Power Systems Technology Collaboration Programme, which advocates for solar PV energy as a cornerstone of the transition to sustainable energy systems. It conducts various collaborative projects relevant to solar PV technologies and systems to reduce costs, analyse barriers and raise awareness of PV electricity’s potential.
Compiled from data collected for the annual National Survey Reports (NSR) and information supplied by a worldwide network of market and industry experts, the Trends in Photovoltaic Applications report presents a broad view of the current status and trends relating to the development of PV globally.
