Solar energy transformation refers to the process of converting the energy from the Sun into usable forms of energy. Hence, innovating new materials and designs for a solar prototype can improve efficiency and lower costs. The pathways of solar energy transformation include solar photovoltaic and solar thermal energy technologies.
At present, solar energy conversion technologies face cost and scalability hurdles in the technologies required for a complete energy system. To provide a truly widespread primary energy source, solar energy must be captured, converted, and stored in a cost-effective fashion.
The study outcome was tested using correlation analysis, co-integration analysis, efficiency analysis, and the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) analysis technique. The OLS findings revealed that the cost of capital is significant at 0.2633∗, energy efficiency at 0.2365, and energy transition at 0.0235∗.
