As can be seen from table 1 and figure 2 that the open-circuit voltage is zero when the cell is producing maximum current (ISC = 0.65 A).
Minimum Shade: It must be made sure that the selected site either at rooftop or ground should not have shades or should not have any structure that intercepts the solar radiation falling on the panels to be installed.
Its current rating is calculated by using the short-circuit current rating of the PV module. The value of voltage is the same as the nominal voltage of batteries. The charge controller rating should be 125% of the photovoltaic panel short circuit current. In other words, It should be 25% greater than the short circuit current of solar panel.
The nominal power of the solar panel is measured under Standard Test Conditions (STC), i.e., at an irradiance of 1000W/m², cell temperature of 25°, and air mass of AM=1,5. These are standard test conditions. The actual performance of the solar panel would vary significantly compared to its performance in Lab conditions.
