Energy storage systems (ESS) accelerate the integration of renewable energy sources in the energy and utility sector. However, there are also challenges with the stability, scalability, and integration of newer technologies like supercapacitors in energy storage systems. Therefore, the energy storage industry is focusing on further research and development to make ESS more cost-effective.
